On your device.

Who this policy covers

True Progress is developed by Paul Ude. This policy explains how the app, this support website and our support email handle information. Contact true.progress.app@gmail.com with questions.

Information used inside the app

The app uses the readings you enter or allow it to read from Apple Health, together with your goals, limits and preferences, to draw charts, estimate forecasts and identify changes. Optional profile details, such as your date of birth and sex, help tailor relevant guidance and suggested limits.

These readings, settings and the app’s analysis are stored or processed locally. We do not operate an app account service or a server that receives your Health data. The app contains no advertising or third-party tracking analytics SDK.

Your control over Apple Health

Connecting Apple Health is optional. You choose which measurements the app may read and whether it may write manual weight entries to Health. You can change these permissions at any time in Apple Health. True Progress uses this access to provide the features you choose, not for advertising, marketing or data brokering.

Apple Health data may sync or be backed up through Apple according to your device and iCloud settings. This is separate from the app’s local analysis. See Apple’s Health data guide for permissions, sources and deletion controls.

Widgets, notifications and sharing

Widgets use a locally shared snapshot of your app data. Notifications are generated on your device. Widgets and notification previews may display weight or other Health information on your Home Screen or Lock Screen; you control their visibility through the app and iOS settings.

If you export or share a report or image, you choose its destination. The selected app or service then handles that copy under its own policies.

Purchases

Apple processes in-app purchases. True Progress uses Apple’s purchase verification to determine which features you own. We do not receive your payment-card information. Apple handles purchase records and billing under its own privacy policy.

Keeping and deleting information

App readings and preferences remain on your device until you remove them or delete the app. Deleting the app does not automatically delete source readings in Apple Health, exported files or copies retained in device backups. Manage those copies in Apple Health, the destination service or your backup settings.

Removing an imported reading from True Progress can hide it from the app without deleting the original Health entry. Use Apple Health to manage the source record.

If you contact support

When you email us, we receive your email address, your message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond, investigate your request and improve the app. Email is handled by our email provider. Please send only the information needed to explain your question.

Support correspondence is kept only as needed to handle the request and maintain relevant support records, or where required by law. You can ask us to access, correct or delete information you have sent. We cannot retrieve Health data that remains solely on your device.
